About Home Health

Home care reinforces the care provided to the patient by family members and friends and helps the patient maintain dignity and independence … qualities that are all too often lost.

Home health care is a viable, cost effective alternative to hospitalization, especially during the recovery stage following surgery or illness. STAT accepts payment for services through Medicare, Medicaid and some private and managed care plans. Care is provided without regard to age, race, nationality, handicap, religion, gender or sexual orientation.

Home Health care can reduce complications following surgery or illness, speed recovery and provide education to help patients, family members and caregivers better understand and manage symptoms at little or no cost to the patient. STAT’s team of compassionate and experienced healthcare professionals provide an optimistic “can do” attitude helping the patient to achieve clear goals with measurable results.

Home care reinforces and supplements the care provided to the patient by family members and friends and helps the patient maintain dignity and independence … qualities that are all too often lost. Further, home care allows patients to take an active role in their care, becoming members of a multidisciplinary health care team. For patients who are covered by Medicare, there are no out of pocket expenses associated with receiving home health care.
